How we assess quality
Investigative assessment, not hands-on testing
We review publicly available information about brands and products, including materials, manufacturing, warranties, repair options, company disclosures, and other credible sources. Assessments may consider durability, repairability, sustainability, low-waste packaging, ethics, transparency, and value when evidence is available.
Each profile shows its current assessment state, supporting sources, caveats, and review date. A listing is not automatically an endorsement, and incomplete or outdated assessments are labelled clearly.
